The CSF A90 Supra / BMW G-Series High-Performance Heat Exchanger with Rock Guard (CSF #8154) is engineered to eliminate one of the most common issues with the 2nd Gen B58 engine: rapid heat soak in the liquid-cooled charge air cooler system. Under demanding driving conditions, stock systems often allow intake air temperatures (IATs) to spike, forcing the ECU to cut power or even send the car into limp mode.
CSF developed this solution after seeing Supra racecars struggle with overheating at competitive track events. The upgraded CSF heat exchanger significantly reduces IATs, accelerates heat soak recovery, and prevents power loss—making it a must-have for tuned and turbo-upgraded applications.
Compared to the factory 25mm single-row unit, CSF’s design features the industry’s largest 2-row 68mm core with exclusive B-Tube technology. Despite the larger size, a unique tank design ensures compatibility with OEM mounting locations. It also includes billet transmission cooler mounts and a protective rock guard for improved airflow and durability.
