Description
The COBB Tuning Aluminum Charge Pipe is designed for turbocharged FA24-powered Subaru applications, including the 2022+ WRX, 2019+ Ascent, and 2020+ Outback XT/Wilderness. It replaces the factory charge pipe with durable 6061 aluminum tubing, improving airflow while providing a more robust alternative to factory plastic components.
The COBB Charge Pipe transitions from 2.5 inches at the lower portion to 2.75 inches at the intercooler connection. An integrated billet transition smoothly increases the diameter to support increased airflow while maintaining clearance for larger aftermarket radiators.
The charge pipe features a wrinkle black powder coat finish for a clean, subtle appearance under the hood. An integrated billet turbo adapter uses a machined and anodized retaining clip with a ball detent to securely attach the charge pipe to the turbocharger housing. A 5-ply silicone coupler at the opposite end provides a straightforward and leak-resistant installation.
Tuning is not required for safe installation. The charge pipe is compatible with the stock calibration and COBB OTS maps. COBB recommends pairing it with the rest of its Stage 2 Power Package and OTS Calibration for the 2022+ WRX to maximize its potential.
