Description
The CarBahn Performance Heat Exchanger Kit is designed to improve cooling performance for BMW X3 M40i and X4 M40i models equipped with the B58 engine. Designed for drivers who demand consistent performance during spirited driving, high-boost tuning, repeated acceleration pulls, hot-weather driving, and track sessions, this motorsport-inspired heat exchanger helps manage temperatures under sustained boost.
Turbocharged performance can be affected as intake temperatures rise. Higher temperatures can contribute to timing reduction, boost reduction, heat soak, and power fade. The CarBahn Heat Exchanger Kit uses a motorsport-grade bar-and-plate core, optimized end-tank geometry, and increased thermal surface area to help improve heat rejection while maintaining efficient airflow and coolant velocity under load.
With up to 40% increased cooling capacity and F1-derived thermal efficiency technology, the CarBahn heat exchanger is engineered to help lower intake air temperatures and maintain more consistent performance during demanding driving conditions.
