Description
The CANchecked MFD32 Gen2 Multi-Function Display is a vehicle-integrated digital monitoring system designed for pre-LCI BMW G-Series vehicles. The 3.2-inch display provides real-time access to engine and vehicle data directly through the factory CAN bus network, giving drivers detailed insight into vehicle performance, temperatures, pressures, and other operating parameters.
Manufactured in Germany, CANchecked develops both the hardware and software for its display systems in-house. The MFD32 uses manufacturer communication protocols to query ECU data directly from the vehicle's CAN bus, providing fast data communication and refresh rates.
The display is integrated into a vehicle-specific air vent assembly, creating an OEM-style installation while maintaining airflow through the ventilation slots. A dedicated plug-and-play wiring harness allows the system to be installed without permanent vehicle modifications.

The MFD32 allows drivers to create personalized monitoring pages through CANchecked DSS (Display Setup Software).
Users can configure widgets, colors, graphics, and vehicle parameters to create different layouts for daily driving, performance driving, track sessions, or diagnostic purposes.
With support for up to 128 available sensors, the display can provide detailed monitoring of engine temperatures, pressures, performance parameters, and other vehicle data supported by the specific BMW application.
Performance Measurement & Data Logging
The integrated performance meter allows drivers to measure acceleration times such as:

- 100–200 km/h
- 0–200 km/h
The system also provides integrated data logging, allowing monitored parameters to be recorded to the internal SD card. Recorded information can then be reviewed after a drive or track session.
External Sensor Inputs
In addition to CAN bus data, the MFD32 includes four analog inputs for compatible external sensors.

The installation is plug-and-play and does not require permanent vehicle modifications. The vehicle-specific trim panel replaces the factory vent area while maintaining airflow through the ventilation slots.
