Enhance the performance of your Infiniti Q50 or Q60 3.0T with the Burger Tuning Stage 1 Performance Tuner. Designed for seamless integration with the factory DME, this plug-and-play tuning module optimizes boost, timing, and fueling to deliver significant horsepower and torque gains while reducing turbo lag.
Unlike traditional tuning solutions, the Stage 1 tuner works by manipulating the ECU boost control signals without altering the manifold boost reference. This ensures that the ECU continues to properly map timing and fueling, allowing for a smooth yet more powerful driving experience. The advanced 64MHz processor samples sensors 800 times per second using dedicated 10-bit digital-to-analog converters, ensuring precise and efficient performance.
Boost levels are adjustable via the optional BMS data cable, with a default gain set to 3.0 psi over stock. The Stage 1 can function independently or in conjunction with a flash tuning map for enhanced boost control. Installation takes under a minute and can be removed just as easily without leaving any traces. Fuel economy remains unchanged during normal driving conditions.
For the Red Sport model, power gains range from 30-50hp depending on fuel quality, while the Silver Sport model—detuned from the factory—can achieve up to 60hp-100hp increases based on octane level. Higher octane fuels allow for greater boost pressure and higher power output. Recommended boost settings include:
- Red Sport Models: Maximum of 3 psi over stock on pump fuel, up to 4 psi over stock on E85 mixtures or unleaded race gas.
- Silver Sport Models: Maximum of 5 psi over stock on 93-octane fuel, up to 7 psi over stock on E85 mixtures or unleaded race gas.
- Aftermarket Flash Maps: Suggested boost increase of 1-2 psi over flashed boost target, depending on fuel quality.
The JB4 tuner is CARB-approved under Executive Order (EO) No. D-744-6, ensuring compliance with emissions regulations for all 2016+ Infiniti Q50 and Q60 3.0L Turbo models, including Luxe, Sport, Silver Sport, and Red Sport.
