The JB4 plugs directly into accessible sensors in the engine bay, working with your factory ECU to remap boost, timing, and fueling for optimal performance and reduced turbo lag. Unlike standard performance chips, the JB4 features a fully programmable CANbus system, upgradable firmware, and data logging capabilities. It can read real-time parameters including pedal input, throttle position, gear, engine speed, air/fuel ratio, fuel trims, ignition advance, and knock.
Safety features include maintaining low boost until oil and water reach optimal temperatures, dropping to a low boost map if the engine overheats, runs lean, overboosts, or experiences knock.
