Fuel economy during normal driving remains unaffected, and all driving modes—including towing—remain fully compatible. The JB4 auto-detects engine size, making it compatible with both 1.5L and 2.0L turbo models.
Advanced CANbus Integration
The JB4 features real-time CANbus tuning, reading critical engine data directly from the ECU, including:
- Pedal and throttle position
- Timing advance
- Air/fuel ratio and fuel trims

- Map 3: +4psi, recommended for 93+ octane or modified vehicles
- Map 4: +6psi, for 30% E85 mixtures
- Map 5: +7psi, for 30% E85 or unleaded race fuel

- Map 7: Progressive tuning with WMI (water/methanol injection)
The JB4 also offers boost-by-gear control, reads and deletes fault codes, and includes support for multiple fuel types, including E85.
