The Burger Tuning JB4 is the most advanced plug & play performance tuner available for Kia and Hyundai 1.6L Smartstream turbo engines. Delivering up to 40 horsepower and 60 lb-ft of torque at the wheels on a stock vehicle, the JB4 works seamlessly with your factory ECU to optimize boost, timing, and fueling for maximum performance and reduced turbo lag.
Unlike basic piggyback systems, the JB4 integrates with your vehicle’s CANbus system, allowing it to monitor pedal input, throttle position, gear, air/fuel ratios, ignition timing, fuel trims, knock, and more—ensuring precise adjustments in real-time. Built-in safety features protect your engine by reducing boost until oil and coolant reach proper temperatures, and by automatically lowering power if the system detects lean conditions, overheating, overboost, or excessive knock.
Installation is quick, discreet, and completely reversible with no trace left behind. The JB4 comes preloaded with maps for 91 octane, 93 octane, and E85 fuel mixtures, plus valet and stock modes. It supports wireless connectivity through JB4 Mobile or the new JB4PRO app, giving you full control to adjust maps, log data, view gauges, and update firmware directly from your smartphone.

Important Compatibility Note:
This JB4 (V3) is for Smartstream engines with white sensors. If your 1.6L Turbo engine has black sensors, you need the Lambda (V1) version.
