The Burger Motorsports (BMS) Billet Performance Intake System is engineered to improve airflow, increase horsepower, and enhance the driving experience of BMW vehicles equipped with the Gen 2 B58 engine. Designed for the BMW G20/G21 M340i and M340i xDrive, as well as the G42 M240i xDrive, this performance intake delivers gains of up to 8+ wheel horsepower while significantly improving throttle response, turbo spool, and engine sound.
Constructed from precision CNC-machined billet aluminum with a durable black anodized finish, the BMS intake provides a clean, high-quality appearance under the hood. The system includes a reusable BMS high-flow inverted cone air filter, available in red or blue, designed to support increased airflow and improved engine performance.
The upgraded intake features a large 3.5-inch inlet while retaining the factory cold air intake tube, lower airbox, and OEM heat shield. This design preserves the original cold air ducting and heat isolation while upgrading the intake assembly for improved airflow. It also allows drivers to hear the turbocharger spool more clearly under heavy acceleration, providing a more aggressive and engaging engine sound.
Installation takes only minutes and is fully reversible, making it an excellent performance upgrade for BMW owners who want increased airflow and improved sound without permanently modifying the factory intake system.

Optional Add-On: BMS Silicone Intake Pipe Hose Upgrade
The Burger Motorsports BMS Silicone Intake Pipe Hose Upgrade is designed for the 2019–2024 Gen 2 B58 BMW M340i and M340i xDrive, as well as the 2022+ G42 M240i xDrive.
This optional silicone intake pipe upgrade smooths airflow from the intake system to the factory turbocharger inlet by eliminating the upper factory sound resonator and the lower accordion section of the factory air inlet pipe. This design provides a smoother airflow path between the intake and turbocharger inlet.
