The Burger Motorsports Competition Cold Air Intake is engineered for the Gen 2 and Gen 3 B58-powered BMW M240i, M340i, and M440i models. Developed with over a year of track and street testing, this intake blends OEM+ design with the raw performance and sound of an open intake system.
It features a renewable inverted cone performance filter with a built-in velocity stack for smoother airflow, a clear inspection window, and precise OEM-style fitment. The design reuses the factory heat shield to keep intake temperatures low, integrates with the OEM cold air ducting, and replaces the factory accordion hose and resonator with a smooth intake pipe to reduce turbulence. The result is a noticeable boost in horsepower, throttle response, airflow, and sound without sacrificing reliability.
