Our cat-back system utilizes 2.5-inch diameter piping instead of 3.0-inch. While initial prototypes featured a larger diameter, testing showed that the 3.0-inch system resulted in a loss of torque at lower RPMs with minimal gains at higher RPMs. This design choice ensures that the MK6 GTI maintains optimal torque and performance.
With multiple slip joints and high-quality stainless band clamps, the exhaust system allows for optimal adjustment and fitment.
