Track Edition:
Designed for maximum sound and performance, the Track Edition delivers an unfiltered exhaust note that lets the B48 engine roar. Starting after the secondary catalyst, it features a full 3” path from axle to dual 3” tip outlets. This system amplifies the exhaust sound without filters, providing a raw, aggressive tone while remaining 50-state emissions compliant.
Note: A simple cut at the factory cut point enables installation, with the included factory clamp allowing easy swaps back to stock.
Touring Edition:
Similar to the Track Edition in structure, the Touring Edition integrates AWE’s 180 Technology® to cancel out drone frequencies, creating a more refined, sophisticated in-cabin experience. This edition boosts exterior sound while maintaining comfort inside the vehicle, making it ideal for daily drivers who want power without overwhelming cabin noise.
180 Technology® by AWE:
The 180 Technology® equipped resonator uses advanced engineering to cancel out drone. By controlling the sound waves' timing, this technology eliminates problematic frequencies, delivering maximum performance without disturbing the cabin environment.
Model-Specific Recommendations:
- 330i: With factory emissions intact, the Track Edition offers a heightened exhaust experience. However, if you plan to modify upstream components, the Touring Edition is the better option.
- 430i: Due to the coupe's unique acoustics, AWE recommends the Touring Edition for an optimal in-cabin experience. The Track Edition can be used but may be too loud for some, especially with other modifications.
Tip Options:
Both editions come with dual 4.5” double-walled, slash-cut tips in either chrome silver or diamond black, giving a stylish finish to your exhaust.
