The Touring Edition features a dual 3” T304L stainless steel configuration, including a precisely engineered x-pipe that enhances the RS 5’s 2.9TT twin-turbo engine. It is equipped with AWE’s 180 Technology®, a proprietary drone-canceling solution that ensures a comfortable cabin experience under cruising conditions while delivering a deep and aggressive exhaust note. The Touring Edition balances power, performance, and daily drivability—ideal for enthusiasts who want the best of both worlds.
180 Technology® by AWE works by routing sound waves into reflection chambers where they bounce and rejoin the main exhaust flow, creating a 180-degree out-of-phase wave that cancels unwanted frequencies. The result? A thrilling exhaust tone without the annoying cabin drone.
Track Edition: Raw, Unfiltered Sound
For those who want their Audi RS 5 to unleash its full potential, the Track Edition is your answer. This version retains the same high-quality components as the Touring Edition, including the 3” diameter tubing and x-pipe, but forgoes the 180 Technology®, allowing for a more raw and rowdy exhaust note. Be warned—this version can get loud, especially in the mid-range and during cruising, and may not suit all drivers. Please note that Track Editions cannot be returned due to sound preferences.
Upgrade Options:
AWE offers easy conversion kits that allow you to switch between the Touring Edition and Track Edition with minimal effort. Adjust your exhaust to match your driving style.
Tip Options:
