Profile The TiAL Q BOV is an advanced revision of the original TiAL Blow-Off Valve, designed for ultimate performance. It bolts directly to any standard TiAL flange, eliminating the need for re-welding. This BOV is the highest flowing on the market and features a -10 PSI spring, ideal for the N54 application, paired perfectly with our TiAL Flange Charge Pipe.
Construction Engineered for both turbocharged and supercharged applications, the TiAL Q BOV is crafted from CNC-machined 6061 aluminum alloy. It features a large 1.98 in (50.5mm) valve and a V-Band design aluminum mounting clamp, providing a clean and unique appearance. The clamp includes stainless steel hardware, ensuring long-lasting, corrosion-free use.
The valve seal employs a Viton O-ring, securely clamped to prevent sticking and pulling out. The valve stem and guide are Teflon-lubricated and hard anodize-coated for exceptional wear resistance. The BOV also includes a machined aluminum banjo-type air fitting and bolt with an oversized 10 mm hose barb for rapid actuator response. The actuator features a high-temp silicone Nomex-reinforced diaphragm for extended durability.
Each unit comes with an aluminum or mild steel weld base mounting flange, with a stainless steel option available at an additional cost. The 6061 aluminum construction allows for anodized finishes in various colors. After extensive R&D, this valve flows 60% more air than its predecessor, making it the highest flowing BOV available. One TiAL Q BOV can support up to 1,800hp.
