Under normal driving conditions, the factory MQB oil pan functions adequately. However, when pushing your 2.0T engine to its limits, the OEM design can cause oil starvation due to oil being pulled away from the oil pickup during long sweeping turns and acceleration. The ARM MQB Billet Oil Pan, suitable for EA888 and EA888.3 engines, features baffling around the oil pickup to keep it submerged, preventing oil starvation during spirited drives.
Construction: The ARM MQB Billet Oil Pan is made from a single piece of T6061 aluminum, providing superior durability and the addition of cooling fins for rapid heat dissipation. This design keeps your engine oil cool, enhancing the performance of your 2.0T engine.
The oil pan includes three threaded studs and nuts for the reinstallation of the OEM oil level sensor. The oil drain port features six drain channels, allowing maximum oil drainage and minimizing contamination from spent oil. Additionally, a magnetic drain plug captures unwanted metal debris, protecting your engine.
