By increasing the air filter surface area and intake tube diameter, this intake system delivers faster performance and exhilarating induction sounds.
CONSTRUCTION: The ARM B9 S4/S5 Intake is crafted to support optimal airflow for the EA839 engine, pushing your B9 S4/S5 to its highest potential. It features:
- 6" Inverted High-Flow Air Filter: With 144 cubic inches of surface area, this large filter enhances airflow efficiency.
- Oversized 4" Intake Tube: Made from 6-ply high-temperature reinforced silicone, this tube ensures maximum airflow while positioning the filter deeper into the cooler engine bay area.
- Heat Shield: A wrinkle black-coated aluminum shield prevents hot air from the engine from mixing with the cooler air entering through the OEM air snorkel. It attaches securely to the OEM threaded post on the strut tower.
- Sound Suppression Removal: The intake replaces the restrictive OEM airbox, removing sound suppression features to let you fully experience the turbo’s natural sounds.
The ARM B9 S4/S5 Intake kit includes everything needed for installation and provides a direct connection to either the ARM B9 S4/S5 Turbo Inlet or the OEM turbo inlet.
