Description
With the growing popularity of the Australian converted Dodge Ram 1500, ARB engineers have designed and developed the Summit Winch Bumper to suit this vehicle. Due to the size and towing capacity of up to 4.5 tons (depending on vehicle specification), the Ram Summit Bumper is designed to accommodate 12,000 lb winches. The lower pan of the bar features a different profile and extra bracing to handle the increased winch loads. Testing includes FEA simulations, 30-ton press testing, and winch load testing to ensure the bar assembly, chassis mounts, and chassis perform reliably under heavy winch conditions.
