Description
The ARB BASE Rack Kit (Part No. arbBASE12) is a complete vehicle-specific roof rack system tailored for 2008–2011 and 2013–2021 Toyota Land Cruiser models with the 5.7L V8 engine. It includes the 84in x 51in BASE Rack (PN 1770040), a front 1/4 guard rail (PN 1780020), and a mount kit with integrated wind deflector (PN 17915080).
The included BASE Rack is constructed from fully welded extruded aluminum with internal bracing, delivering exceptional strength without additional crossbars. Its dovetail extrusion system spans the full perimeter and internal beams, allowing fast, flexible mounting of accessories such as Hi-Lift™ jack mounts, recovery boards, custom light bars, and more. Unlike traditional rack channels, it resists dust and debris buildup.
The front 1/4 rail provides containment for forward-mounted gear while keeping the rear open for oversized cargo. The mount kit secures the rack using factory points on the roof, retaining full sunroof functionality and compatibility with the factory rear antenna.
This kit is finished in ARB’s signature Integrit textured black powder coat for durability and a premium appearance. It’s fully compatible with ARB’s Roof Rack LED Light Bar (PN 1780500), either alongside the wind deflector or mounted in its place.
