The APR Ultralink puts APR's ECU and TCU tuning platform directly in your hands, allowing supported vehicles to be tuned from home without a dealer visit. The compact OBD-II programming device connects your vehicle to the APR Ultralink Marketplace, where you can access APR engine and transmission calibrations for supported applications.
Designed for Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, and other supported VAG vehicles, the Ultralink provides a convenient way to purchase, download, install, and update APR software directly through your vehicle's OBD-II port.
With a single Ultralink device, you can access APR software across multiple supported vehicles. Tunes remain vehicle-specific, while the hardware itself is not locked to a single vehicle or subject to per-vehicle licensing.
The Ultralink also provides access to features such as stage changes, octane switching, adjustable launch control, torque levels, speed limiters, exhaust sound settings, fault-code reading and clearing, flash-counter resets, and software uninstallation, depending on the supported vehicle and calibration.

APR Ultralink Marketplace
The APR Ultralink Marketplace provides direct access to APR's engine and transmission software library. The Ultralink connects the vehicle to APR's online marketplace, allowing users to browse available calibrations and install compatible software.
APR states that the platform includes 10,000+ in-house developed tunes covering 140+ vehicle applications, with new ECU and TCU support added regularly.
ECU & TCU Tuning
The Ultralink supports both Engine Control Unit (ECU) and Transmission Control Unit (TCU) upgrades on compatible vehicles.
Depending on the application, available software can include multiple performance stages, octane calibrations, transmission tuning, launch-control adjustments, torque-limit changes, speed-limit settings, and other configurable parameters.
Because factory controllers can have different software revisions and box codes, APR notes that not every available feature or tune will necessarily be compatible with every vehicle of the same year, make, and model.
Multiple-Vehicle Use
The APR Ultralink device is not locked to one vehicle. The same device can be used to access and install APR software on multiple supported vehicles.
However, the tunes are vehicle-specific. When connected to a supported vehicle, Ultralink identifies the available software based on the vehicle's controller information and available APR calibrations.
Existing APR Customers
Existing APR customers who previously purchased qualifying APR software through an authorized APR dealer do not need to purchase the same software again simply to use Ultralink. APR can associate existing software purchases with the customer's account for Ultralink access.
Installation & Operation
The APR Ultralink is designed for DIY at-home flashing.
Connect the Ultralink to the vehicle's OBD-II port and use a compatible Windows or macOS computer with the APR Ultralink platform. The system identifies the vehicle's controller information and displays available software options.
