The APR Performance GTC-500 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing is engineered for the 2016-2022 Acura NSX, providing high-efficiency downforce while minimizing drag. Designed for track, motorsport, and high-performance street applications, the GTC-500 improves rear-end stability, cornering traction, and braking confidence.
The airfoil is developed using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), creating a cambered profile that maximizes airflow attachment and reduces separation at high speeds. The fully adjustable angle of attack ranges from 0° to 15°, allowing drivers to fine-tune downforce and drag based on track conditions, vehicle dynamics, or performance needs. Higher angles increase downforce for better traction and cornering, while lower angles reduce drag to improve straight-line speed. The wing achieves an 8.88:1 downforce-to-drag ratio for optimal aerodynamic efficiency.
Constructed from pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber and autoclave-cured in aluminum billet molds, the GTC-500 offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and rigidity. Adjustable 10mm aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminum risers allow precise control of wing height and positioning. Vehicle-specific carbon fiber bottom plates and universal aluminum bottom plates provide secure mounting for a wide range of high-performance vehicles.
Optional gurney flaps (0.5" / 12.7mm) can be added to further increase downforce and reduce flow separation, enhancing high-speed cornering grip. The GTC-500 combines race-inspired styling with functional aerodynamics for maximum performance.
