Overview:
APR is pleased to present a modular Boost Tap and PCV Bypass System designed for your 2.0T engine. This innovative system plugs directly into the intake manifold and offers several configuration options to suit your needs.
The APR Modular Boost Tap features a tap used for referencing boost or vacuum from the manifold, along with a cap if this feature is unneeded. A T-junction allows for multiple boost and vacuum references, and a 'no buzz' restrictor pill ensures proper manual boost gauge operation. Additionally, the system includes a threaded PCV plug, allowing the PCV system to function as intended by the OEM or to be blocked off for specific setups, such as catch-cans. Temporarily installing the threaded plug also allows for quick diagnosis of the PCV valve for boost leaks. This versatile and modular design ensures compatibility with all boost, vacuum, and PCV system combinations, eliminating any future compatibility concerns.

Emissions Compliance:
This part is legal under the provisions of EPA’s Tampering Policy dated November 23rd, 2020. APR has conducted testing to verify that this product allows the vehicle to operate within legal emissions standards, making it legal for on-street use in all states that accept the provisions of the Clean Air Act and the EPA Tampering Policy. However, this product is NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. Testing with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to achieve 50-state compliance is pending. Once testing is complete and an E.O. number is issued, this product will be updated to 50-state legal status.

Please note that this boost tap does not fit the flex fuel B8.5 (A4/A5/Allroad) vehicles with the metal intake manifold.
