The Type-AT front fenders are manufactured using a vacuum-infused fiberglass process for a strong and lightweight composite construction. The additional width is concentrated at the top center of the fender and gradually tapers toward the rear to accommodate the integrated vent, creating a distinctive motorsport-inspired appearance without being specifically designed for wider wheel or tire combinations.
The vent screens are removable and paintable, allowing the fenders to be customized to complement the vehicle's exterior. The fenders are also designed to work with the factory front bumper, Anderson Composites GT350-style front bumper, or Ford GT-style front bumper while retaining compatibility with the stock fender liners.
