The sound is absolutely incredible - it’s what the GTS should have came like from the factory. In normal mode it’s exactly as quiet as stock until you get to 4000 rpm, and in sport mode it’s as obnoxious as you’d need it to be at any rpm. Pedal response is better in both modes and fuel economy is slightly better as well (I got 24. 7 mpg cruising on the highway at 65mph). But with how often you’re going to want to put your foot down to hear your engine, you won’t be getting anywhere close to that. Supposedly you're supposed to get a bit more power, around 10hp, but can't confirm if that's true or not without a dyno.
Installation was easy and does not require welding. 6 bolts on each pipe (3 bolts on exhaust manifold, 2 on exhaust clamp, 1 on exhaust bracket). Takes about an hour without a lift, although you’ll need to get the car pretty high off the ground to wrestle the old cat out. Overall 10/10 - best value out there.
