The aFe POWER Twisted Steel Y-Pipe 2" to 2-1/2" Aluminized Steel Exhaust System is purpose-built to solve clearance issues caused by aftermarket long-arm travel lift kits on the 2012–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK V6-3.6L (4-Door models only). Designed as a direct replacement for the restrictive factory Y-pipe, this system improves exhaust routing, durability, and flow while maintaining excellent value.
Constructed from mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing, the Twisted Steel Y-Pipe transitions smoothly from dual 2-inch inlets to a single 2-1/2-inch outlet, increasing exhaust velocity and reducing restriction. At the heart of the design is a true merge collector, which blends exhaust gases from both banks smoothly into a single stream, eliminating turbulence commonly found in formed or stamped collectors. The result is improved horsepower, torque, and throttle response.
Specifically engineered to clear aftermarket long-arm lift kits, this Y-pipe prevents contact issues associated with the OE exhaust design, making it a critical upgrade for lifted Wrangler JK builds. The system includes all necessary hardware for installation; however, cutting is required to remove the factory Y-pipe.
