The Twisted Steel Short Tube Headers are precision-engineered to unlock additional horsepower, torque, and throttle response from the 2021–2025 Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon 392 6.4L HEMI. Designed as a direct replacement for the restrictive factory exhaust manifolds, these headers deliver proven performance gains while retaining factory fitment and reliability.
In in-house dyno testing, the Twisted Steel headers produced gains of up to +11 horsepower and +13 lb-ft of torque. Performance improvements come from optimized exhaust scavenging and increased exhaust velocity, allowing the 6.4L HEMI to breathe more efficiently throughout the RPM range.
The system is constructed from mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel tubing, featuring 1-7/8-inch primary tubes that merge smoothly into 3-inch collectors. Integrated 4-to-1 mitered merge collectors reduce exhaust turbulence, improve flow efficiency, and enhance throttle response under acceleration.
For long-term durability and a leak-free seal, the headers utilize heavy-duty laser-cut, machined mild steel flanges designed to match factory mounting points. All components are 100% MIG-welded for race-proven strength and resistance to heat cycling. Factory O2 sensor locations are retained, ensuring proper sensor operation and compatibility with the stock ECU.
Designed using advanced CAD technology, these headers install directly in the factory locations and bolt up to the factory exhaust system with no cutting or modifications required, making installation straightforward and secure.
