Its inverted top increases surface area, extending the service intervals and maximizing airflow.
The filter is housed within a one-piece, open-element XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing engineered to block warm engine bay air while allowing cool outside air to enter freely. A redesigned, enlarged air inlet pulls additional air from the factory scoop, feeding the engine with a consistent supply of cool air.
