Description
The aFe Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake System with Pro DRY S Filter (afeTM-2013B-D) is engineered to maximize airflow, horsepower, and throttle response for the Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota 86 equipped with the 2.0L H4 engine. Designed using advanced CAD technology and validated through extensive dyno testing, this sealed intake system delivers proven performance gains while maintaining excellent filtration and everyday drivability.
During dyno testing, the Takeda Momentum intake produced gains of up to +9 horsepower and +10 lb-ft of torque, while flowing 54% more air than the factory intake system. At the heart of the system is a large 360-degree high-flow Pro DRY S air filter, which provides maximum airflow and filtration efficiency without the need for oiling. The filter is fully washable and reusable, requiring only soap and water for maintenance.
The sealed one-piece rotomolded air box features an integrated front-facing air scoop that captures cooler outside air while shielding the intake charge from engine bay heat. A dyno-tuned wrinkle black rotomolded intake tube is included to ensure smooth, unrestricted airflow directly into the engine, improving torque and throttle response across the RPM range.
Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, the Takeda Momentum intake includes all required hardware for an easy installation with no cutting or permanent modifications.
