At the core of the system is a sealed XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) intake housing, engineered to resist heat soak, impact, and extreme under-hood conditions. The sealed design helps protect the intake charge from engine heat while shielding the filter from dirt, debris, and moisture during daily driving or light off-road use.
The intake features a large 9-inch tall, 360-degree radial-flow Pro DRY S air filter, utilizing three layers of oil-free synthetic media for excellent filtration efficiency and dust-holding capacity. The washable and reusable filter requires no oil, making maintenance quick, clean, and convenient. An injection-molded base and top provide rigidity and lightweight strength, while the integrated 3-angle velocity stack promotes smooth, even airflow into the intake tube.
