The aFe POWER Quantum Cold Air Intake System with Pro 5R Filter delivers cutting-edge airflow technology for 2007–2010 GM Duramax 6.6L diesel trucks. Designed with a patent-pending, integrated filter-to-housing architecture, this intake system maximizes airflow efficiency while maintaining excellent filtration, durability, and ease of installation.
On the dyno, the Quantum intake delivers impressive gains of up to +19 horsepower and +37 lb-ft of torque, while flowing a massive 800 CFM at 7 inches H₂O. Compared to the restrictive factory intake, this system improves airflow by up to 50%, enhancing throttle response, towing capability, and overall engine performance.
The system features the Pro 5R performance air filter, utilizing five layers of oiled progressive cotton composite media for maximum airflow and superior filtration. Its 360-degree radial flow design, combined with an inverted top, increases surface area for extended service life and improved performance. The filter’s injection-molded base and top provide lightweight strength and rigidity, while a built-in three-angle velocity stack ensures smooth, consistent airflow into the intake tube.
The dyno-tuned, CAD-designed intake tube is constructed from high-impact XLPE material, offering exceptional resistance to heat soak and long-term durability without sacrificing fitment. A silicone bellows coupling absorbs engine movement, maintaining a secure seal under high load and vibration.
Designed as a true bolt-on upgrade, the Quantum Cold Air Intake installs using factory mounting locations with no cutting or modifications required.
