The aFe POWER Street Series Rear Differential Cover is engineered to provide superior protection, cooling, and long-term durability for Jeep Gladiator JT models equipped with the Dana M220 rear axle. Whether used for daily driving, towing, or off-road adventures, this cover’s increased fluid capacity and optimized design help maintain cooler operating temperatures and healthier differential performance.
Constructed from heavy-duty cast aluminum, the cover features reinforced ribs for enhanced strength and impact resistance over the factory unit. Its raw aluminum finish with machined cooling fins delivers a bold, functional appearance while maximizing heat dissipation under demanding conditions.
Designed for improved thermal management, the cover offers increased oil capacity, allowing gear oil to run cooler for extended periods. Integrated internal and external cooling fins efficiently transfer heat from the differential fluid to the surrounding air, improving longevity and reliability.
For added protection, the cover includes a neodymium magnetic drain plug that captures metal debris and contaminants to safeguard gears and bearings. A calibration plug set to the factory oil level prevents overfilling, ensuring consistent lubrication. The kit also includes sway bar spacers, ensuring proper clearance and straightforward installation on Dana M220-equipped Gladiators.
All necessary installation hardware is included for a direct bolt-on installation. Optional upgrades such as the deep reach magnetic fill plug (PN 46-00002) and oil level sight glass (PN 46-00001) are available separately for added convenience and monitoring.
