Improve transmission cooling, durability, and overall performance with the aFe POWER Pro Series Deep Transmission Pan, engineered specifically for Ford vehicles equipped with the 6R80 transmission. Designed for high-demand street, towing, and performance applications, this Pro Series pan increases fluid capacity while maximizing heat dissipation to help extend transmission life.
Manufactured from high-strength die-cast A380 aluminum, this transmission pan features reinforced ribs for superior rigidity and impact resistance. The integrated internal and external machined cooling fins efficiently draw heat away from the transmission fluid and disperse it into the surrounding air, helping maintain optimal operating temperatures under heavy loads or aggressive driving conditions. The deep-pan design adds approximately 7 additional quarts of transmission fluid over stock, improving lubrication, cooling efficiency, and thermal stability.
For enhanced protection, the pan includes a large neodymium magnetic drain plug that captures harmful metallic particles circulating in the fluid, reducing internal wear. A threaded 1/8" NPT port is built into the pan, allowing easy installation of a transmission temperature sensor for precise monitoring.
This transmission pan is designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, utilizing factory mounting locations and including all necessary hardware for a straightforward installation. It is fully compatible with the stock transmission filter and factory gasket, and requires no modification to the OEM dipstick, preserving factory serviceability. Finished in a durable black powder coat with machined fins, the Pro Series pan delivers both corrosion resistance and a premium performance appearance.
