The aFe POWER Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System with Pro DRY S Filter is engineered to combine high performance, reliability, and modern style for GM 6.2L gas trucks and SUVs. Inspired by the sleek design of the 1500’s modernized headlights, the Momentum GT not only enhances airflow but also complements your engine bay with a contemporary, high-tech appearance.
This intake system features a washable and reusable Pro DRY S air filter, designed with three layers of synthetic, oil-free media for maximum convenience. Its progressive layering ensures excellent filtration efficiency and dust-holding capacity, while the inverted-top design increases usable filter surface area, extending service intervals and simplifying maintenance.
The patented filter-to-housing interface allows the largest possible filter to be installed. Maintenance is straightforward: the air filter can be removed by simply disconnecting the intake tube, without requiring disassembly of the housing.
The one-piece, sealed housing is constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), reducing the total number of components while maintaining a precise OEM fit. A large clear sight window enables easy inspection of the filter without disassembly. The housing also integrates the factory air inlet and includes an optional auxiliary air inlet to provide additional airflow under high demand.
The dyno-tuned, computer-designed intake tube ensures optimal airflow and maximum power gains, while the XLPE construction resists heat soak for consistent performance. Premium components, including stainless-steel T-bolt clamps and a flexible bellows coupling, ensure a secure, leak-free installation. With fewer components than traditional systems, the Momentum GT is fast and simple to install.
