The Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System with Pro 5R Filter delivers advanced engineering, increased performance, and superior engine protection for the Jeep Wrangler JK 3.8L. Designed using the latest CAD technology, this system provides a powerful upgrade that enhances airflow, horsepower, and throttle response while maintaining exceptional filtration efficiency.
Its unique one-piece sealed housing features an integrated auxiliary air scoop to supply the intake with the coldest air charge possible. The housing eliminates the need for multi-piece assemblies, improving durability and ease of installation. A urethane plug is included, allowing you to close the auxiliary scoop during colder weather conditions or when maximum heat isolation is desired.
The Pro 5R performance air filter uses five layers of progressively finer oiled cotton gauze to maximize airflow and filtration. This large, high-capacity filter is engineered for increased dust-holding capability and extended service intervals while delivering optimal performance gains.
Premium components, including stainless steel T-bolt clamps and a reinforced 2-ply silicone coupling at the throttle body, ensure long-lasting durability and secure connections. The system is designed with fewer parts, resulting in a fast and straightforward installation.
During extensive testing, the Momentum GT system outperformed the factory intake by 46 percent and produced gains of up to 11 horsepower and 12 lb-ft of torque, offering noticeable improvements in engine responsiveness and overall driving performance.
