Large Five-Layer Pro 5R Performance Air Filter
The system features a 360-degree radial flow, pre-oiled Pro 5R filter with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media. This ensures maximum airflow and filtration efficiency, usually providing the highest power gains among all filter media options. Its inverted top design increases filter surface area, extending service intervals. The filter is washable and reusable, ideal for street use and long-term maintenance convenience.
Filter-to-Housing Interface
Momentum’s innovative filter-to-housing interface is designed to accommodate the largest possible filter while maintaining ease of maintenance. Once installed, the air filter can be removed simply by uninstalling the intake tube, eliminating unnecessary disassembly.
Unique One-Piece Housing
Constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), the one-piece sealed housing incorporates the patented (US PAT 9440175) filter-to-housing interface. Its design minimizes the number of components for simplified installation. A large clear sight window allows for easy inspection without disassembly. The housing features a built-in air inlet scoop and an optional auxiliary air inlet to provide additional airflow without extra hardware.
Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube
The system includes a computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube that maximizes airflow while maintaining precise OEM-style fitment. Its durable XLPE construction resists heat soak for consistent performance under high engine temperatures.
