The Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System with Pro 5R Filter is engineered to deliver maximum airflow, aggressive performance gains, and OEM-style integration for Ford and Lincoln 3.5L EcoBoost applications. Designed with a sealed housing and a high-flow cotton gauze filter, this system dramatically improves intake efficiency while maintaining excellent filtration and long-term durability.
Dyno testing shows gains of up to +13 horsepower and +15 lb-ft of torque, while airflow is increased by an impressive 75% over the factory intake system. With a measured flow rate of 780 CFM @ 7” H₂O, this intake ensures the turbochargers receive a steady supply of cooler, denser air—unlocking stronger throttle response and consistent power delivery across the RPM range.

Large Five-Layer Pro 5R Performance Air Filter
This system utilizes a massive 9-inch tall, 360-degree radial flow air filter featuring a pre-oiled Pro 5R cotton gauze media. With five progressively finer filtration layers, the Pro 5R filter provides maximum airflow potential while maintaining excellent filtration efficiency. Its inverted top and increased surface area extend service intervals, making it ideal for high-performance street driving.
Innovative Filter-to-Housing Interface
Momentum’s advanced filter-to-housing interface allows for the use of the largest possible air filter while simplifying maintenance and installation. The design reduces part count and improves sealing for consistent airflow performance.
One-Piece Sealed XLPE Housing
The smooth, one-piece housing is constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) to minimize heat soak and maximize intake air density. It incorporates the factory hood inlet scoop and grille air inlet, ensuring a continuous supply of cool ambient air. A large clear sight window allows for easy filter inspection without disassembly.
Silicone Inlet Seal
A molded silicone inlet seal mates directly to the hood, effectively blocking hot engine bay air from entering the intake system and maintaining stable intake air temperatures.
Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube
The computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube optimizes airflow geometry to support increased horsepower and torque. The XLPE construction offers excellent durability and resistance to heat soak.
