The aFe Magnum FLOW Pro GUARD7 Air Filter with Foam Pre-Filter (afe30-10429G) is a maximum-protection OE replacement air filter engineered specifically for 2020–2025 Ford Super Duty diesel trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke engine. Designed for the harshest, dustiest operating conditions, this filter is ideal for heavy towing, off-road use, work sites, and extreme-duty applications where engine protection is the top priority.
The Pro GUARD7 filter features seven layers of hybrid filter media, combining five layers of progressively finer oiled cotton gauze with two layers of oil-free synthetic media. This patented composite design delivers exceptional filtration efficiency and dust-holding capacity, while still maintaining strong airflow for reliable engine performance. It is aFe’s most protective air filter media, built to thrive in environments that quickly overwhelm standard filters.
Included is a washable foam pre-filter, which captures large debris before it reaches the main filter element. This significantly extends service intervals and filter life, especially in dusty or dirty conditions, without restricting airflow. Both the air filter and pre-filter are fully washable and reusable using aFe POWER CLEANER and gold air filter oil.
A deep, rounded open-pleat design maximizes usable surface area, while the progressive urethane bump seal ensures a tight, leak-free seal against the factory airbox. The Pro GUARD7 filter media uses a patented seven-layer composite design that blends oiled cotton gauze with synthetic material. This hybrid construction provides maximum engine protection, outstanding filtration efficiency, and superior dust-holding capacity—making it ideal for the dirtiest environments imaginable.
The washable foam pre-filter acts as the first line of defense by trapping large particles before they reach the main filter. Easily removable using the integrated ABS retainer, the pre-filter can be tapped clean between services or washed alongside the main filter to extend maintenance intervals.
The rounded, evenly spaced deep pleats increase usable filter surface area, while the urethane bump seal conforms to uneven airbox surfaces for a perfect seal. The full polyurethane frame maintains its shape after repeated heat cycles, ensuring consistent fitment and durability over time.
