Featuring Pro 5R factory-oiled filter media, this air filter uses five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze to provide excellent airflow and strong filtration efficiency. The progressive media design allows the filter to continue flowing efficiently even as it becomes dirty.
This version includes a washable foam pre-filter, which captures large debris before it reaches the main filter element. The Pro 5R filter media consists of five layers of factory-oiled cotton gauze, designed to maximize airflow while maintaining reliable filtration. The progressive layering allows high airflow even when the filter begins to load with dirt, making it well-suited for both street-driven and hard-working diesel trucks.
The washable foam pre-filter acts as a first line of defense by trapping large particles before they reach the main filter. Easily removable using the integrated ABS retainer, the pre-filter can be tapped clean between services or washed alongside the main filter to extend maintenance intervals.
A rounded deep-pleat design increases dust-holding capacity, while the urethane bump seal conforms to uneven airbox surfaces for a perfect seal. The full polyurethane frame maintains its shape after repeated heat cycles, ensuring consistent fitment and long service life.
