The aFe Power Large Bore-HD 4-Inch 409 Stainless Steel DPF-Back Exhaust System is engineered for Duramax owners who demand durability, improved exhaust flow, and aggressive dual-exit styling. Designed specifically for 2017–2019 GM 2500HD and 3500HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L L5P Duramax diesel engine, this system delivers OE-quality fitment with performance-driven construction.
Built from 4-inch mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing, the Large Bore-HD exhaust offers excellent strength and corrosion resistance for demanding towing and daily-driving environments. Smooth, mandrel-bent transitions reduce turbulence and restriction, helping to increase horsepower and torque while lowering exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs)—all while retaining factory emissions components.
This DPF-back exhaust converts the factory single exhaust into an aggressive dual rear side-exit configuration. Installation is quick and hassle-free, utilizing all factory mounting locations, OE-style bayonet hangers, and high-quality band clamps for a secure, leak-free fit. A bolt-on bracket is included to properly support the driver-side tailpipe, ensuring long-term alignment and durability.
Completing the system are dual 5-inch polished 304 stainless steel slash-cut tips, each featuring a black laser-cut stainless steel aFe POWER badge for a bold, performance-focused appearance. Despite the dual-exit layout, the system retains the factory spare tire location with no relocation required.
