Description
The aFe CONTROL Suspension Logic Electronic Shock Delete Module (GM Gen 3 – Small Connector) is a plug-and-play solution designed to allow the installation of aftermarket shocks or coilovers on GM vehicles originally equipped with MagneRide electronic suspension systems. These modules safely bypass the factory electronic shock signals, preventing suspension-related warning lights and speed limitations.
When MagneRide shocks are removed without proper bypassing, the vehicle’s Body Control Module (BCM) triggers a suspension fault, which can result in a check engine light and a speed limiter capped at 80 mph. aFe CONTROL Shock Delete Modules eliminate these issues by accurately simulating factory shock signals, restoring normal vehicle operation without permanent modifications.
Each module features a compact, injection-molded housing for durability and long-term reliability, along with GM-style Weatherpack connectors to ensure a secure, weather-resistant connection. Installation is completely tool-free and plug-and-play, making it ideal for both professional installers and DIY enthusiasts.
These modules are sold as a complete set of four, providing full coverage for all four corners of the vehicle.
Important Fitment Note
When installing these shock delete modules on lowered or lifted vehicles, ride height simulators (P/N 436-401004-B) are required to maintain proper suspension system functionality.
