Upgrade the factory charge-air plumbing on your 2024–2026 Ford F-150 2.7L EcoBoost with the aFe POWER BladeRunner Aluminum Hot and Cold Charge Pipe Kit. Designed as a high-flow replacement for the restrictive factory charge pipes, this performance charge pipe system uses mandrel-bent aluminum tubing and smooth transitions to reduce turbulence and minimize pressure loss between the turbocharger and engine.
The BladeRunner kit is engineered to improve charge-air flow on both the hot and cold sides. The hot-side pipe flows up to 20% more air than the factory charge pipe, while the cold-side pipe flows up to 11% more, helping optimize airflow through the turbocharged intake system and support improved engine performance.
High-Flow Aluminum Charge Pipes
The kit features TIG-welded aluminum charge pipes with smooth, mandrel-bent transitions designed to reduce turbulence and pressure loss. The hot side transitions from 2" to 2-1/2", while the cold side transitions from 3-1/2" to 2-3/4".
By providing a smoother path for compressed air, the BladeRunner charge pipes help improve charge-air flow between the turbocharger and engine while supporting lower operating temperatures and increased power potential.
Premium Construction
The charge pipes are constructed from lightweight, heat-resistant aluminum and finished with a wrinkle-black powder coating for added resistance to heat and corrosion. TIG-welded construction provides strength and durability for demanding performance applications.
Premium Hardware and Couplings
The kit includes high-quality stainless-steel SmartSeal clamps and heavy-duty 5-ply polyester-reinforced silicone couplings. These components provide a secure connection while helping the charge pipe assembly withstand increased boost pressure and repeated heat cycles.
A factory-style quick-connect fitting with an O-ring is included for a secure connection to the factory system.
Sensor and Water-Methanol Ports
The charge pipes feature 1/8" NPT ports that can be used for connecting compatible sensors or water-methanol injection equipment, providing additional flexibility for performance builds and custom applications.
