Cooler Charge For More Power. Superchargers are great for making power, but they are also known to create excessive heat that can cause detonation. But by upgrading your Supercharged Shelby GT500 to a AFCO Pro-Series Heat Exchanger with Dual Electric Fans you can effectively lower intake charge temperatures, eliminating detonation and increasing horsepower. The AFCO Pro-Series Heat Exchanger will increase the cooling area 350% when compare to the stock factory heat exchanger.
Superior Construction. Using an all aluminum construction, AFCO double pass heat exchangers are much lighter and provide better thermal efficiency than stock allowing for a cooler intake charge. Each heat exchangers is 100% TIG welded by hand for the strongest and most uniformed welds possible, with no epoxy.
Kit Includes. The Shelby GT500 AFCO Pro-Series Heat Exchanger kit comes complete and includes an all aluminum AFCO Double Pass Heat Exchanger, two 10" electirc fans with the required wiring harness and relay needed for installation.
Application. This AFCO Pro-Series Heat Exchanger with Dual 10" Fans is designed to be a direct fit replacement upgrade for the 2007 to 2012 Shelby GT500 equipped with the Supercharged DOHC 5.4L V8 engine.
