Building on over 30 years of BMW performance expertise, Active Autowerke has engineered these downpipes to deliver maximum horsepower, torque, and turbo efficiency, while retaining a stock-looking engine bay. Designed similarly to the G90 M5 downpipes, these S68T units are specifically tailored for the X-Body exhaust layout, ensuring a perfect fit and optimized flow.
Performance & Design
The S68T downpipes are meticulously engineered to eliminate the restrictive factory design, reducing radiant heat and turbo lag while significantly increasing performance across the entire powerband. Constructed in-house from TIG-welded 304 stainless steel, the downpipes feature mandrel-bent 3" piping and a factory-matched offset inlet, including the lower section often sold separately as a “mid-pipe.”
The design allows for OEM O2 sensor heat shield retention, keeping the engine bay looking factory stock—a perfect sleeper upgrade.
