These downpipes are designed to significantly reduce the restrictive nature of factory units, allowing for improved exhaust flow, lower radiant heat, and enhanced overall engine efficiency. The result is noticeable gains in horsepower and torque across the entire powerband, along with reduced turbo lag and faster spool times.
Manufactured in-house using premium 304 stainless steel, each unit is TIG welded and individually inspected to ensure precise fitment and long-term durability. The design features a factory-matched offset inlet that smoothly transitions into a high-flow mandrel-bent body, incorporating the lower section commonly referred to by others as a mid-pipe.
A key feature of this variant is the inclusion of dual 5-inch Active AFlow high-flow catalytic converters, engineered to prevent check engine lights (CEL) while maintaining strong exhaust flow. These converters are EPA registered, OBD2 compliant, and built using full 304 stainless steel construction, including the substrate.
The Active AFlow catalytic system is designed to support up to 1,000 horsepower applications while maintaining emissions compliance in 49 states. Proprietary precious metal loading technology ensures efficient emissions reduction while minimizing CEL occurrences and maintaining high durability under extreme conditions.
This system is ideal for forced induction applications and maintains strong performance without sacrificing emissions control reliability. It is also engineered to withstand high exhaust temperatures and extended high-load operation.
