These catted downpipes are strategically designed to eliminate the restrictive characteristics of the factory M5 downpipes, reducing radiant heat and turbo lag while significantly increasing performance throughout the powerband. By improving exhaust flow and reducing backpressure, your twin-turbo S68 engine can reach its full potential, delivering quicker turbo spool and increased horsepower and torque.
Constructed in-house from TIG-welded 304 stainless steel, the downpipes feature precise factory-matched offsets, mandrel-bent piping, and durable V-Band connections for perfect fitment. The kit also includes the lower section typically sold separately as a “mid-pipe.” The OEM O2 sensor heat shield is retained, allowing the engine bay to maintain a stock or “sleeper” appearance.
Catalytic Converters (GESI High Flow UHO-Series)
Included with this variant are pair of 5” high-flow GESI catalytic converters that are EPA registered, fully OBD2 compliant, and designed to prevent CEL activation. Constructed entirely from 304 stainless steel, including the substrate, these converters feature GESi proprietary precious metal loading to dramatically reduce emissions while allowing full performance potential. Rated for engines producing up to 1,000 horsepower, these catalytic converters provide maximum flow capacity with minimal backpressure, ideal for forced induction applications.
Important: Not legal in California due to California Vehicle Code Section 27156 and 38391. Compliant for all other states with OBD2 vehicles (1996+).
