The Active Autowerke S63TU downpipes are engineered to significantly reduce the restrictive nature of the factory downpipes, leading to lower radiant heat and increased overall performance. By improving exhaust flow, these downpipes help to increase horsepower and torque across the powerband and reduce turbo lag, resulting in a more responsive driving experience.
Manufactured from premium 304 stainless steel, these downpipes are TIG welded in-house to ensure precision and durability. The design incorporates a factory-matched 3.5" V-band inlet that tapers into a high-flow, mandrel-bent body for optimal exhaust flow. The inclusion of GESI 4.5" high-flow catalytic converters ensures compliance with emission standards without triggering a check engine light (CEL). These converters are ideal for forced induction engines, offering high flow while maintaining up to 850 horsepower capability.
Active Autowerke’s downpipes are designed to accept the OEM O2 sensor heat shield, allowing the engine bay to maintain a stock appearance while benefiting from improved performance.
