The factory downpipe in the B58 engine is notoriously restrictive, hindering exhaust gas evacuation and turbo spool. To address this, our Supra MKV Signature downpipe features 4.5" diameter stainless steel piping. This not only enhances power but also ensures quicker spool and extreme durability. The piping tapers down to 3.5" with a stainless flex joint before reaching 80mm to meet the OEM exhaust system. Importantly, we maintain the stock diameter of 80mm throughout, avoiding any reduction in performance.
This variant of the Active Autowerke Supra MKV downpipe incorporates a 4.5" high-flow GESI catalytic converter. A key feature is its ability to deliver improved performance without triggering a Check Engine Light (CEL). The GESi G-Sport Ultra High Output Catalytic Converter boasts full 304 stainless steel construction, including the substrate. It is EPA registered and compliant in 49 states, fully OBD2 compliant, and suitable for vehicles from 1996 onwards. Thanks to GESi's proprietary precious metal loading technology, emissions are significantly reduced, ensuring compliance and eliminating most "Check Engine Lights."
