The 034Motorsport Billet Catch Can Kit for the Volkswagen MK8 GTI and Audi 8Y A3/S3 is engineered to provide a comprehensive crankcase ventilation solution for the EA888 Gen 4 2.0T engine platform. Designed using 034Motorsport’s extensive motorsport experience, this system captures oil and water vapors before they enter the intake tract, helping reduce carbon buildup, improve combustion cleanliness, and extend engine life.
Although the factory EA888 Gen 4 PCV system improves upon previous generations, oil and vapor contamination can still accumulate in the intake system during spirited driving and higher power applications. The 034Motorsport Catch Can Kit addresses this by utilizing an advanced internal baffle system that separates contaminants from crankcase gases while maintaining proper crankcase ventilation.
The integrated drain-back system allows captured oil and condensation to return to the oil pan, similar to the operation of the factory air oil separator. This helps reduce oil accumulation in the intake tract and on intake valves while preserving proper PCV functionality and crankcase pressure management.
Designed as a true bolt-in solution, the kit features billet aluminum components, AN hoses, a no-drill mounting bracket, and compatibility with the factory engine cover.
