The Numbers
From the factory, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe is rated at 375 flywheel horsepower. On our dyno, stock testing recorded a peak output of 359 wheel horsepower at 5,100 RPM.
After installing the TruControl by STILLEN Inline Power Module, peak wheel horsepower increased to 375 horsepower at 5,000 RPM. While peak gains show a modest increase, the real performance transformation occurs in the mid-range, where the Wrangler spends most of its time on- and off-road.
At 3,100 RPM, horsepower increased from 230 whp stock to 302 whp, representing gains of over 70 wheel horsepower exactly where acceleration and trail performance matter most.
Torque gains are even more impressive. Stock torque peaked at 431 ft-lbs at 3,700 RPM. With TruControl installed, torque output surged to 506 ft-lbs at 3,100 RPM, an increase of over 120 wheel ft-lbs in the low-to-mid RPM range.
With TruControl, a completely stock Wrangler 4xe produces more torque than the Wrangler 392 V8, delivering exceptional crawling power, throttle response, and real-world drivability.
