Innovative Design. A result of Steeda's unique partnership with Ford, this intake keeps the factory cold air feed ducting from the front bumper and uses a stainless steel heat shield to prevent hot air from entering your engine bay. Combined with their "ProFlow" intake tube, your Mustang will keep its factory noise tube and PCV tubes for less mess in your engine bay, less noise, and less heat.
101mm MAF Housing. This Steeda cold air intake kit now features a larger 101mm MAF housing (MAF not included). Please note that orders shipped before 7/23/2012 will contain the smaller 95mm mass air housing.
Easy Installation. Installing the Steeda Intake for your 2011-2014 GT takes about an hour, and requires only basic tools.
Required Upgrade. Installation of this Cold Air Intake will require the use of a Mustang Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) for operation.
Application. This Steeda Cold Air Intake is designed for the 2011-2014 Mustang GT 5.0 with the 6-speed manual transmission only, requires a new computer tune. We also carry the Steeda Cold Air Intake for the 2011-2014 GT with the automatic transmission.
Technical note. Installation of this Steeda CAI requires the use of a custom-tuned SCT SF3/X3 PowerFlash or SCT LiveWire tuner to reprogram the cars computer for the Cold Air Intake.
