Designed specifically for the high-performance LS7 and LS9 engines, this system offers serious performance gains—ideal for modified cars running mild head/cam setups, low-boost forced induction, or nitrous.
Crafted from premium 304 stainless steel, this complete header package is engineered to deliver race-proven durability and street-legal confidence (excluding California). With 31" long primaries and D-shaped port-matched flanges, airflow is maximized at every turn to reduce turbulence and improve exhaust velocity. The X-pipe design enhances exhaust scavenging and creates a crisp, aggressive tone under acceleration.
Included with the system are O2 extensions, Accuseal clamps, cable and clamp assemblies, compression fittings, oil cooler line rerouting hardware, and more. Though installation requires lowering the front cradle and rerouting the oil cooler lines, the result is a performance gain you can feel immediately. Dyno tests of a stock 2006 Z06 with similar 2" headers showed a gain of 29 hp and 41 lb-ft of torque with no tuning—expect exceptional gains even with the 1-7/8" variant for milder builds.
Pairing this header kit with a Stainless Works 3” cat-back system also results in a total weight savings of over 40 pounds compared to the OEM exhaust setup, contributing to better power-to-weight ratio and overall vehicle performance.
